Recent clients for content strategy and digital experience projects include:
Ashfield District Council
Working as part of a contract team (alongside October24 and HeX Productions) I provided content strategy and content design throughout a 6 month website rebuild. This created an accessibility-accredited front-end website for the council, improved usability, improved readability, and provided a new content governance model.
Facebook Skills workshops
Working with fellow communications specialist Dan Slee we’ve been delivering our Vital Facebook Skills workshop in 2019. Run as an open workshop in various locations and as bespoke in-house training where required the day covers Pages and Posts as organic reach declines, engaging with and in Groups, and how to get the most for a small budget from Ads plus case studies, research findings and much more. 100% of those attending the course say they would recommend – next dates can be found here.
“This course is everything you can imagine from these awesome peeps. From game-changing strategy to challenging your existing knowledge and top tips along the way. It’s all things good.” – Tweet from Amanda Waugh
“Best Development I’ve done on my tactical skills in years. Even if you don’t use Facebook in your current role, it’ll reinvigorate your interest and energy for tactical side – and the learning is useful for other platforms” – tweet from Bridget Aherne
CarelineSOS and South Essex Homes
I worked with the in-house teams at CarelineSOS and South Essex Homes to deliver to them a bespoke workshop on paid campaigns with a focus on Google and Facebooks Ads, as well as development of marketing personas and copywriting skills.
Lynsey Hurd, Marketing and Communications Coordinator, said: “Excellent workshop that delivered positive ideas for us to take forward. A very knowledgeable trainer who understands the social media field very well and was able to provide some excellent examples and tips for us to use. Sarah has an understanding of the constraints of the public sector as well as experience of working in the private/sales driven environment too. I would thoroughly recommend her workshop as it delivered results that exceeded my expectations.”
MusterPoint
I’m working with social and media management platform MusterPoint on digital engagement with a focus on social media, search, and content strategy and marketing. Designed to meet the needs of the public sector, emergency services and regulated industries the platform is headed for a relaunch and I’m pleased to be working with a great team and able to bring my experience across local government and the NHS to the project.

British Glass
I worked with British Glass on in-house training for their team on social media, communications planning and data and analytics.
Senior Officer Sue Coffey said: “Sarah provided a very useful, targeted day on social media for our team and we are now busy putting all her good advice into practice. I can highly recommend her delivery.”
